For whom?
International students experiencing mental health challenges who are on a waiting list for psychological treatment and/or wish to work on their mental health.
(For students registered with Huisartsenpraktijk UvA with foreign insurance (such as AON))

What to expect?
Biweekly group sessions where the basic principles of psychology
are shared and peer support is facilitated. Each session focuses on
a specific theme, such as:
- Thoughts, feelings, and behavior
- Action plan
- Lifestyle
- Sleep and dealing with worries
- Studying with mental health challenges
You’ll receive take-home tips, allowing you to start feeling better right away. There’s also space to share personal experiences and find recognition and support from one another. Nothing is mandatory during these sessions—everything proceeds at your own pace.
Bi-weekly on Wednesdays 15.00 -17.00 p.m.
